The Sedona area was hit by freak flash flooding on Thursday, Sept 10, 2009. Residents and stores near Thunder Mountain were shocked that afternoon to see the flood waters washing through parking lots and into people’s homes.
This video shows at 2:30 p.m. a flash flood hit Tlaquepaque. It washed a few cars into a debris-laded culvert which caused the entire parking lot to flood.
